Did you know you were supposed to BLANCH broccoli before you freeze it?! I had no idea! We used to always freeze our broccoli when we had extra. Every time we tried to cook it, it would taste disgusting. I was always so confused but Clint found this today: How to Freeze Broccoli
Did anyone else know this?!
We are SO eating more broccoli now...

Ya. Same thing with corn. We bought like 40 pounds of corn on the cob and had to blanche it all. It was a long project, but worth it. We still have some in the freezer.
Audrey, This is Cari Hansen, Jake's mom. This is the only way I could figure out to write you back but i want you to know how much your comment on Jake's blog meant to me. I have been on such an emotional roller coaster that some times i forget that other people have gone through this and that Jake just might be ok in the end. Your little girl is beautiful!!! I would love to meet you some day if that's ok. I feel like it might give me bit more answers of what to look forward to and be prepared for.
