It's been a little over a year since we left the NICU and we have been looking forward to this ever since! (Jen, if you see Shelley - tell her we missed her!!) :) We owe so much to those who did so much for us. It's a beautiful thing to see all those children there who wouldn't be here if it weren't for the Lord and the steady hands of the doctors and nurses. They have a great group of people running that place.
We ran into a few of our special blogging babies too! Lincoln's mama and Reese and Whit's mama. It was so nice to finally meet you both! I wish I had gotten a picture with you guys but I totally forgot! Maybe next year! :D
We had a lot of firsts at this lil' party...
Tried cotton candy...
Popcorn... (sorry for all the up close pictures. I was holding the kid AND taking the pics.)
Ice cream sandwiches... (not really new for her but she loved it even though it was way cold outside.)
Face painting... she kept trying to eat the paintbrush.
She got a balloon and played with it all night.
We ran into Annie while we were there too. She was our OT and we love her! She always tells us she has a 23 week club for exceptional 23 week babies.. Darbi is one of them and she's so proud of her!
We had a blast.

That reunion looks pretty awesome! Something about Darbi's expression in the face painting picture makes her look so big! Love it!
It looks like you all had a great time! Big D is so adorable. If it weren't for the cannula, I'd never believe she was a 23-weeker. She's really exceptional.
