Piggy flu vaccine!

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

This morning we went down to the county health department and stood in line for an hour for the H1N1 piggy flu vaccine. All the signs said only children 6 months to 2 years and pregnant women could get it but we were lucky enough to also get it for Clint and I. Darbi was so good while we were there! Usually I just take Darbi to get her immunizations at the doctor by myself and it takes me about 5 minutes to calm her down after her shots. Today since Clint was there, she was an angel! The nurses were eating her up! She was being so cute! Of course, after the shot, she cried for about 5 seconds. Clint started talking to her and she started smiling!! She's such a ham! I'm taking him with me all the time now!

This was the line.. it went outside, into the parking garage, and wrapped around into the basement of the garage!

OK Audrey, that little girl of yours is seriously getting cuter and cuter by the second. I love all your updates, and especially love the pictures. She's a doll, just like her mommy!

I saw the line. The building is right by my house. I need to go and get them for my kids too.

I'm glad you guys got this vaccine! That's horrible to have to stand in line for THAT long, but it's so worth it.

We've been under the weather over here (although I don't think it's swine flu). I heard (on Sunday) that the Swine Flu is going through the ward, so be extra careful.

I soooo hope you guys are doing well. I need to stop in and say hello sometime. But don't worry, I'll wait until the sick-crap is gone COMPLETELY.

Such a cute picture! She is darling. We stood in that line the day before. It was SO long but probably worth it. I keep hearing about people getting the swine flu. So glad you could all get the vaccine.

She's so smoochable! Our D got her pig flu shot yesterday at the pulmonologist. My husband took her, if I had been there I would have tried to finagle it for us too. Did they tell you if D will need a booster?
