this is the one we are making this Christmas... with a tutorial and all: http://giggleberrycreations.blogspot.com/2009/11/millas-kitchen-handmade-by-papa-grandma.html
This is one that I have seen done before: http://designdazzle.blogspot.com/2010/01/tv-entertainment-center-turned-play.html You could find a super cheap entertainment center on ksl. I love how cute they are, I wish I would have thought of something like that.
I have no advice, but I think those are SO cute! If you find any good instructions (or come up with your own), PLEASE post/link to them so I can make one, too! (I wonder if Jeff would object to his son having a play kitchen? Maybe I could do a play BBQ grill instead, those are manly.)
I think go and find a night stand or side table that is about the size of the second one and then make one, I would look at yard sales or goodwill or savers! So cute!
I know nothing about building little kitchens (although I do think it's darling) but I do know that the Darbster is getting cuter by the second and I'm loving every picture of her!
I know this is weird bc i dont know you, but i totally know a good site that will help u build this. So, I was blog hopping, looking for ideas for my babys room and somehow got onto yours. I found this link forever ago, maybe it will help you.
"Often do the spirits of great events stride on before the events. And in today already walks tomorrow" -- Samuel Taylor Coleridge
"If you are a mother, you participate with God in His work of creation—not only by providing physical bodies for your children but also by teaching and nurturing them. If you are not a mother now, the creative talents you develop will prepare you for that day, in this life or the next." -- Dieter F. Uchtdorf

You can get the cute little pots and pans at Ikea for pretty cheap. They look just like the real ones, just smaller.
