No surgery today. :( We were all ready for the surgery team to come up (since the surgery is done at the bedside) and they didn't come. Nothing is wrong with Darbi. Her surgery just got moved until tomorrow morning at 7:30am. There was a heart transplant that needed to be done which took precedence. We made sure they *promised* we won't get bumped again tomorrow.
It's a no go.. for today.

Sigh.... I. know. exactly. how. that. feels.
I've been feeling sooooo much better this afternoon and I plan to be there early tomorrow morning. Guess tomorrow is surgery day for both of our kids (fingers crossed!) Thanks to you both so very very much for taking care of Crew today!!! See you tomorrow!
What a rollercoaster ride...
I'm trying to think of a fun book to recommend for you to buy... the problem is, I'm like you. I don't buy many books anymore. So... I'm looking at my bookcase and here are some thoughts. I have several books written by Alexandra Stoddard. These are not novels, but more "living the good life" books. She talks about decorating, organizing, etc. in a way that I really like. I have read her books several times. "These is My Words" by Nancy Turner. I have read this book several times and totally love it! AND one of my favorite authors is Vince Flynn. I own most of his books. They are political thrillers (fiction).
Will be thinking of you and praying for Darbi's quick recovery from surgery tomorrow. and always...
These Is My Words is AWESOME AWESOME, it's been a total rage this year throughout the entire neighborhood.
